About

About Fin Cascade

Fin Cascade shows how news reaches Indian listed companies, and the numbers behind each one, in plain language.

What we do

The problem Fin Cascade solves.

A piece of news rarely touches one company. A rise in crude oil reaches paint makers, tyre makers, airlines and oil producers, each for a different reason. Fin Cascade maps how listed Indian companies are linked (who supplies whom, who competes with whom, which raw materials each depends on) and uses that map to show which companies an event reaches, and why.

Next to that it gives every listed company a page with its results, statements, ratios, shareholding and charts, explained in plain words, so a first-time investor can read them as easily as an analyst.

Who makes it

The people behind the site and the app.

Fin Cascade is built and run independently in India. It is published on Google Play as Coachengo Technologies, and on the App Store under its founder, Bijay Kanshi. The website and the app run on the same data and the same rules.

What we do not do

Where our line is.

  • We do not tell anyone to buy, sell or hold a security, and we do not give target prices or predict returns.
  • Fin Cascade is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst.
  • We do not hold your money, take orders or place trades. Fin Cascade is not a broker.

How Fin Cascade earns

So you know what pays for it.

From the Pro subscription in the app. No company pays to appear on Fin Cascade or to be described a certain way.

Where the numbers come from

Sources, timing and how scores are worked out.

Every figure shows the period it covers, and prices are as of the last market close. The sources, update times and the rules behind the business score and the profit check are in our methodology.
